What's your go-to holiday cocktail?

Sweet, or not so much?

Now, what’s your mental cocktail? Stay with me here....
 
If it's like mine, you're thinking about deadlines, shopping, gatherings (fun and not so much), maybe some travel, prepping for Q1 2023.
 
And trying to stay healthy.
 
But as you drink it all in (hopefully with some tasty goodies), are you taking a few minutes to digest 2022?
 

Business owners, executives, lawyers, and other professionals often do year-end reviews. 

It's natural to focus on what needs to improve. 

But what if you add some "sweeter" questions to your mental mix? Like...

  • What am I proud of?

  • Where did I grow?

  • What relationships got better?

  • Where did I exhibit courage?

  • What surprised me about myself?

 Or even just:

  • What delighted me? 

Such wins are easy to overlook. 

But increasing our capacity to notice positive things has been shown to improve mental health, sleep, and even our immune system.
 

I’m setting aside a couple of 15-minute blocks on my calendar between now and Dec 31 to jot down some thoughts.
